Corey Castillo is a recent graduate of the University of Texas at Austin, having previously earned his Bachelor of Music at UCLA. A native of the San Francisco Bay Area, he served as the contrabassoonist for the California Young Artists Symphony and shared innovative music-making with Los Angeles-based ReedPlay Quintet. Away from the bassoon, Corey is a passionate marching arts educator for high school marching bands and the Denver-based Blue Knights Drum & Bugle Corps.
